- Make a group cardJust the card, no money. Everyone signs it from one link, then it goes to them by email or a link you send.
- Plan a get-togetherA meal, a party or a weekend away. Invite people, agree a date that works and see who's coming.
- Split a costA deposit, tickets or a holiday. Everyone pays their share and you can see who's paid.

Questions people ask
Do the people I invite need an account?
No. They open your link, type their name and reply, chip in or sign the card. If they make a free account later, what they did comes with them.
Is Ottsy free?
Yes. Planning, invitations, replies, date polls, group cards and working out who owes who are free. Paying by bank is free too. The only fees are a small card fee if someone chooses to pay by card, and 3% if a gift pot is taken as cash instead of a gift card. We may also earn from optional extras, such as commission when you buy a gift through a link.
Can I send a card without collecting money?
Yes. Make a group card on its own: everyone signs it from one link, with a photo if they like. You see every message and can hide any before it goes. Then it goes to them by email or a link you send, straight away or on a date you choose. It's free.
Is there a fee for group gifts?
Not if you pay by bank: chipping in is free. Paying by card adds a small card fee for the person paying (1.9% + 20p, so 39p on £10), shown on the button first. At the end, spending the pot on a gift card is free; taking it as cash costs 3% from the pot.
Does Ottsy take or send money?
Not yet. Group gifts, splits and withdrawals are simulations in this preview, and every page says so. No card details are collected and no money moves.
How would I get the money out?
Withdraw it to your bank whenever you like, or spend a gift pot on an e-gift card with no fees. Taking a gift pot as cash costs 3%, and withdrawing a split costs 1%, never more than £5. See fees. We ask for your password every time money leaves and send you an alert, so nobody else can take it. When real payments arrive, bank details would be held by a regulated payment provider, not Ottsy.
Can people sign the card without chipping in?
Yes. Anyone with the link can leave a message. Only you, the organiser, see them all, and you can hide any before the card goes out.
Are the gift ideas real?
They're sample listings for testing. They're not verified, and prices and availability aren't live.
Who can see what I organise?
Only people with your link, after they join. You can turn a link off or remove someone at any time. Drafts are visible only to you.
